This project is based on an idea wich came to me when I was in India for the first
time studying the tabla. My vision was to combine Indian classical music with
my other influences (electronica, alternative rock, worldmusic). Some has tried
this before and really succeeded, but I think this project is a worthy challenge
to them!
In this project traditional ragas are in center of attraction, enhanced with new
sounds, beats and harmonies. I really think the result will attract all kinds
of listeners - from the classical Indian audience to the ones who are more in
to alternative music.
